What is a Public Adjuster?

Picture
A Public Adjuster is a licensed and bonded professional responsible for PROTECTING THE POLICYHOLDER.  A Public Adjuster represents you, the property owner, not the insurance company.  The primary function is to advise and assist homeowners and business owners to MAXIMIZE PROPERTY DAMAGE CLAIM SETTLEMENTS.  For example, if you were being sued, you would hire an attorney to protect your interest, right? The same is true when dealing with your insurance company, except you would hire a Public Adjuster who is trained specifically to handle your claim.  The insurance adjuster that is sent from the insurance company to investigate your claim does not represent your best interest.

Retaining the services of a Public Adjuster gives the property owner an expert on loss adjustments and full assistance in the preparation and filing of insurance claims.  Basically, a Public Adjuster is
a damage consultant who represents clients with their insurance company. A Public Adjuster knows insurance laws, property repair and restoration requirements, and is a skilled negotiator.

Why haven't I heard about Public Adjusters before today?

Most people do not come into contact with Public Adjusters even though it is a profession that has been around since the 1880's.  The reason it is unknown is because unless you need our services or know someone who has used a Public Adjuster you don't hear about us.  It is not a highly publicized field.  Metro Public Adjustment, Inc. is actively changing this by telling the public who we are and what we do for homeowners and business owners.

You do not need to be suffering from property damage to benefit from the services of a Public Adjuster.  Schedule Your FREE Policy Review!!!

Even if you knew how to do everything, do you really have the mindset to take care of it and make sure that you are treated fairly? You would not go to Court for a charge/suit against you and allow the prosecuting attorney to defend you, would you?  No, that is ridiculous!!!

Then, why allow the insurance company's adjuster, who is working for the insurance company, work to minimize your claim?  Remember the insurance company adjuster is not the professional who signed up your insurance policy for you.
